Well as Rita predicted when she told me to do the little cheat on Saturday nights, I am having full fledge cravings and detox symptoms today. I was actually fine yesterday but woke up this morning STARVING and my stomach was rumbling and making all sorts of weird noises. I only had 2 hard boiled egg whites before step class and I was quite lethargic in step class - not my best performance. I had a baggie of carrots right after the workout. Now its only 1115am and I'm starving again. I am going to hold out for another half hour and then I will have a bowl of cold quinoa with chopped chicken and veggies. My weight went from 131.8 to 132.2 so that was to be expected - I'm hoping to have a good drop by Wednesday - soooo want to see that 130 mark.
I'm excited today to be going to hear a talk by my favourite celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak...I'm a big fan and he is doing a talk at Western today. Tom and I are going together - fun little couple thing to do.
I'm starting to pack and get organized for Florida - I don't think I have been this excited about a trip in a long time - like can't sleep excited. My personal shopper Brooke is coming to my house tomorrow at 100pm to help me pack and pick out all my outfits for the trip. She's bringing with her all my spring stuff that is still at the store that I chip away at each week - we will have a fun time in my closet. Trying on clothes now that I've lost that weight is soooo awesome. I won't be doing as much shopping for me this time in Florida as I normally do - Fisher had so many amazing pieces for Spring that I was able to get most pieces there, so no stopping at Saks this season - I do plan on a big shop at my favourite Florida store Lilly Pulitzer for my maxi dresses and tops in hot pinks, greens, blues....coloured pants, flip-flops and then to my favourite bathing suit store in Sarasota for some new bikinis - yes I said it - bikinis - I'm going to wear bikinis on this trip and I'm so excited about that.
I'm thinking too about workouts while I am away. I never go to the gym on vacation in Florida - I so much prefer to be outside as much as possible. So I'm planning on tons of walks, maybe a run here and there, walks on the beach, swimming, keeping my eating clean 80% of the time. My husband will be at the gym most mornings - he's the opposite of me - he loves having that time away from work and being able to hit the gym every day. I like the break.
So now I just have to keep busy for another 20 minutes until I can eat again - this could be a long day....
I haven't thought about supper yet - Tom is out - maybe grilled shrimp on lettuce wraps for me......
