well as per usual in the Woodland household, none of us crawled out of bed until close to 1000am - we love our Sunday morning sleep ins but it kind of messes us up for the rest of the day. I woke up hungry and had a piece of ancient grain toast with a light topping of peanut butter and half a banana. Lunch today was my chopped salad but I was out of quinoa and I only had a bit of chicken left so it was a light lunch for sure. I had a few crackers with it. I spent most of the afternoon in the kitchen getting ready for the upcoming week. Hardboiled eggs, made a batch of quinoa, chopped peppers, made a new oat, greek yogurt, flaxseed, banana and chocolate chip muffin recipe. Divine. Had my parents for dinner tonight so I had Tom bbq me 6 extra chicken breasts for lunches this week. I put out a tray of snacks when they got here, raspberries, hummus, salsa, tortillas and the muffins and I just had a few tortillas with hummus and a muffin (they are small)with a glass of wine. Supper was very healthy - bbq chicken for me and the kids, steaks for my parents and Tom, potatoes for the rest of the fam, quinoa for me, roasted broccoli, peppers and asparagus. Ice cream for dessert for everyone else, water for me. So a good clean day all in all for me and lots of good eats for the week coming up. Never made it to the gym or even a walk but tomorrow is day one of serious ass workouts. My kids spent the afternoon outside with Tom while he cleaned the garage - they rode their bikes, used the scooters, did sidewalk chalk -I love seeing them outside. Oh well, even though I didn't get out, I got tons done inside and thats what Sunday is about for me - prepping for the week to come so that I don't get off schedule and make bad decisions.
